NOTICE: Bikeway Closure 9/5/24 and 9/6/24

NOTICE BIKEWAY IMPROVEMENTS: On September 5 and 6, there will be a section of bikeway closed for resurfacing. The closure will be between Tipp City and Dye Mill Road from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm each day. The contractor hopes to have it done in one day but it may take two.

The affected area is from mile marker 5.75 north toward Dye Mill Rd, south of Troy.

Mitigation Project

The goal of the Project is to provide substantially enhanced habitat diversity to the Wannemacher Nature Reserve, improve water quality in the Upper Great Miami watershed, and significantly improve recreation opportunities for the park visitors. Learn more

Wildflowers Everywhere

Now showing in your parks...

Spring wildflowers have long since disappeared but the prairies are in full bloom. So, visit one of your Miami County parks and check out dazzling sea of color. August is a great time to check out the flush of blooms in prairies, savannas and wetlands. Before you know it, the forests will be full of fall color with the changing leaves and numerous asters and goldenrods.
